Welcome to SafeShare ("SafeShare", "App", "Service"), provided by Prinix Labs ("Prinix Labs", "we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SafeShare, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App or our website.
1. Nature of the Service & Redaction Limitations
Advisory Machine Learning & Export Review: SafeShare uses on-device machine learning and optical character recognition to assist in detecting faces, text, and barcodes. Automated detection is strictly advisory and may miss sensitive details due to lighting, angle, resolution, font variations, or occlusion. Blur or pixelation can leave details recognizable, and video tracking can lose subjects between sampled frames. We recommend fully covering sensitive regions with opaque blackout masks and reviewing all exported pages, frames, and audio tracks before sharing or publishing.
SafeShare does not guarantee detection of all sensitive items. You should always manually review detected regions and apply additional manual blur, pixelate, or blackout masks whenever necessary.
2. License Grant & Acceptable Use
Subject to these Terms, Prinix Labs grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to download, install, and use SafeShare on compatible devices you own or control for lawful personal and internal business use.
You confirm that you have appropriate rights or authority to process and share your source media. Exporting or redacting media through SafeShare does not grant you new intellectual property rights or ownership over third-party content.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary models of SafeShare, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
- Use the App to violate any applicable local, provincial, state, national, or international law, regulation, or court order;
- Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially resell the App without prior written consent from Prinix Labs;
- Interfere with or attempt to compromise the integrity of subscription verification infrastructure.
3. Subscriptions, Local Trial & Cancellation
SafeShare offers a local three-day Pro trial. Starting it does not require payment details or create a paid subscription. After it ends, continued Pro access requires a separate purchase through Google Play. Core Free features remain available subject to their limits.
If you purchase SafeShare Pro, Google Play shows the price, billing period and applicable terms before confirmation. The current paid plan renews monthly unless cancelled through Google Play. Cancel before the next renewal to stop future renewal charges. Access normally continues through the paid period, subject to Google Play's policies and applicable law. Uninstalling SafeShare does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled under Google Play's refund process and applicable consumer rights.
You can manage or cancel a purchased subscription at any time in Google Play Subscriptions Settings or by following Google's cancellation instructions. SafeShare's local app trial does not need cancellation to avoid a charge.
4. Privacy & Data Lifecycle
Your privacy is central to SafeShare's design. As detailed in our Privacy Policy, media processing runs locally on your device with no cloud uploads of your photos, videos, or documents. When you export or share a file to another app or photo album, that third party’s terms and privacy policies govern subsequent storage and synchronization.
5. Intellectual Property Rights & Third-Party Licensors
All title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to SafeShare (including software, design, logos, visual interfaces, algorithms, and documentation) are and remain the exclusive property of Prinix Labs and its licensors. Open-source and third-party software components bundled with the application are subject to their respective open-source licenses and notices. You retain all ownership rights in and to your original media files and your exported files.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
SAFESHARE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PRINIX LABS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR CAPABLE OF DETECTING ALL PRIVATE OR CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PRINIX LABS, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PRIVACY, DATA LOSS, REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE SAFESHARE OR ANY UNINTENDED DISCLOSURE OF UNREDACTED CONTENT.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the courts situated in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
